EKO is happy to announce that the youth exchange in Portugal has been completed successfully. The youth exchange comes in the framework of PRO(F)LITERACY implementation, united 35 young people and youth workers from Portugal, Greece, Latvia, Estonia, and Italy. The youth exchange was organized by the Portuguese organization PROACTING and took place in Porto, Portugal from 12 to 18 June 2024.
Through the youth exchange, participants gained the opportunity to:
- Explore PRO(F)LITERACY 2.0 with young people, fostering their empowerment and development of key competencies and financial literacy, including within an international context.
- Encourage and promote intercultural collaboration by presenting results from local sessions and leveraging the knowledge and competencies developed internationally.
- Develop skills and competencies aligned with the European framework of 8 key competencies for lifelong learning.
- Enhance EntreComp skills and competencies for entrepreneurial and financial literacy growth.
- Build young people’s confidence and security to participate in additional mobility activities.
