EKO is happy to announce that one more amazing training course has been completed successfully. The mobility was part of the KA2 project “Go 4 Green” and united 9 youth workers from Greece, Italy and Portugal. It was organized by the Portuguese organization Padre Jose Augusto da Fonseca School Group, and took place in Aguiar da Beira, Portugal from 05 to 10 July 2024.
Aims & Objectives of the project
The aim of the Training Course was to promote and strengthen the young population and combat climate change.
More specifically the objectives were:
Workshops & Activities of the project
Through this project, youth workers had the opportunity to get better in some key competences, exchange ideas, acquire new knowledge and techniques that will implement them in their everyday work. Also, they prepared for the upcoming youth exchange making sure that the activities would benefit the participants. In order to do that, they explored Aguiar da Beira village, enjoyed canoeing at a river beach, and visited the town of Viseu to understand its transformation from a rural village to a cosmopolitan city. They observed artisanal honey and cheese production through hands-on demonstrations, visited the source of the Vouga River, and toured the historic religious site “Santuário da Lapa.” The group also met with the Mayor of Aguiar da Beira, fostering local connections, and concluded with reflections on their activities and learning experiences.
It is an amazing opportunity and a great experience for EKO’s team
Angeliki, Sianna and Sabina were the Greek participants whom we want to thank for all their contributions and collaboration throughout the project!
As EKO, we are very grateful for that amazing opportunity given to the Greek team. We thank our Portuguese partner Padre Jose Augusto da Fonseca School Group and the members of the hosting organization for all their hard work and for creating such an impactful project!
Thank you – Ευχαριστούμε – Obrigado!
