Working in progress!

On August 5, 2025, the EYES (Empowering Youth: Erasmus+ Virtual Exchange for Active Citizenship and Social Inclusion) project held its monthly monitoring meeting with representatives from partner organizations in Cameroon, Gabon, Nigeria, Ghana, Italy, Greece, Spain, and Turkey. Partners reviewed progress on training materials, online courses, podcasts, and local youth activities, while also addressing challenges such as internet connectivity and language barriers. The meeting highlighted innovative solutions, including blended online/offline formats, volunteer exchanges, and new partnerships to support youth entrepreneurship.

Preparations for the first Train-the-Trainer session advanced, with partners confirming a 10-day asynchronous format complemented by interactive presentations later in August. To improve coordination, new communication tools such as WhatsApp groups, weekly updates, and a shared project calendar were introduced, alongside a system of rotating meeting leadership. The meeting reaffirmed partners’ commitment to inclusivity, responsible use of AI, and Erasmus+ quality principles, closing with a strong sense of unity and enthusiasm for the upcoming training and exchange activities.
