EKO is happy to announce that one more amazing youth exchange has been completed successfully. The project “Everyday Art & Nature” united 40 teenagers from Poland, Portugal, Spain, Greece. It was organised by the Polish organisation Dolnośląska Wojewódzka Komenda Ochotniczych Hufców Pracy, and took place in Wroclaw, Poland from 18 to 25 October 2025.

Aims & Objectives of the project

This youth exchange focused on bringing together young people in order to explore the connection between art, ecology, and emotional well-being in an intercultural context. It seeks to promote intercultural integration and a sense of community while encouraging creativity, collaboration, and the development of soft skills. At the same time, the project focused on increasing ecological awareness and cultural exchange, strengthening participants’ mental and emotional well-being.

Workshops & Activities of the project

The project was based on creative and outdoor workshops that combine artistic expression with nature-based and ecological activities. Through hands-on art practices, group work, and activities in natural and urban environments, participants were encouraged to reflect on their personal growth, express emotions creatively, and improve their social and communication skills. The workshops are designed to be participatory and experiential, fostering collaboration, intercultural learning, and a deeper understanding of environmental issues while supporting emotional well-being.

It is an amazing opportunity and a great experience for EKO’s team.

”The Erasmus+ project in Wroclaw was such an unforgettable experience for me. By participating in it, I made friends from different countries that made saying goodbye so difficult, and stepped out of my comfort zone to meet a new, extraordinary one. I’m forever grateful for the chance I was given to participate and see a new country with different traditions, and I hope I’ll get new chances like this one in the future” Thomai

”My experience in the youth exchange program that took place in Poland was fantastic. The program helped me to develop empathy and team spirit. Due to the program, I learnt about the customs and traditions from other countries, and I understand that all of us are the same and different in our own ways. Most importantly, I made new friends who will have a special place in my heart. Thank you for this amazing experience, and I hope to participate in another Erasmus like this.”Konstantinos

”I really enjoyed Erasmus and learned a great deal about Polish culture and the cultures of the other two participating countries (Spain and Portugal). Wroclaw was wonderful! Everyone there was super kind, and we had unique experiences together that I will never forget! I hope to participate in Erasmus again and visit Poland once more.” Christina

”My experience in Poland was a wonderful one. I met so many amazing people from different countries, and we created strong friendships. The city was really beautiful, not expensive at all, and with beautiful architecture. If you exclude the food 😂, I had a perfect experience. Thank you for everything!” Ioannis

”The Erasmus+ Youth Exchange ‘Everyday Art & Nature’ was a truly unforgettable experience that brought together young people from different countries in a safe and inspiring environment. Through creative workshops, teamwork, and activities connected to nature, I had the chance to express myself, step out of my comfort zone, and learn from others. The exchange promoted intercultural understanding, personal growth, and a deeper appreciation of both art and the emotional structure hidden behind an individual. Overall, it was a meaningful journey full of new friendships, shared values, and memories that will stay with me for a lifetime. If it were up to me, I would definitely participate in such a program again.” Giannis

”My name is Kyriakos Poimenidis, and I took part in the Erasmus+ project that the Polish team of ΟHP organised. I am very thankful to them that they gave me an opportunity such as this one, because it gave me the chance to learn about the culture of Poland, but also of Spain and Portugal, something that would be impossible in any other situation. I made new friends that I still have contact with, and I created memories that will accompany me for the rest of my life. It is a kind of experience that everyone needs to have at least once. Again, I give my thanks to the Polish team and the project organiser Ewelina.” Kyriakos

”My participation in the Erasmus+ program “Every Day Art & Nature” in Wrocław, Poland was a very beautiful and useful experience. Students from Greece, Portugal, Poland, and Spain took part in the program, and we collaborated on many common activities. Through art and nature, we learned how to express ourselves creatively and respect the environment. We also got to know new cultures, made new friends, and improved our English. The hospitality was very good, and the city of Wrocław impressed us with its beauty and history. This program helped me gain new experiences, knowledge, and moments that I will remember forever.” Areti
