The Kick-off Meeting of the KA2 “Culture in Difference” project took place from 19 to 21 November 2025 in Vienna, Austria, bringing together partner organisations from Italy, France, Austria, Belgium, Greece, and Malta.

The meeting marked the official launch of the project and focused on presenting its vision, objectives, timeline, and implementation strategy. Partners aligned on the project’s goal: fostering intercultural dialogue, social inclusion, and youth empowerment through engagement with Ethiopian diaspora communities and creative media practices.

During the meeting, partners discussed the project structure and work packages, including:

● the formation of local youth groups, with a strong inclusion of young people with Ethiopian migration backgrounds;

● the development of an informal learning and mentoring framework;

● the co-creation of a cultural calendar and a Collective Memory Exhibition in collaboration with local diaspora communities;

the production of audiovisual storytelling and media outputs, to be showcased in public events across partner countries.

The Kick-off Meeting laid a strong foundation for collaboration and mutual trust among partners, setting the stage for the successful implementation of Culture in Difference Youths, a 24-month Erasmus+ project running from September 2025 to April 2027, aimed at strengthening social cohesion, intercultural literacy, and youth employability through creative and community-based learning.
