Our Third Online Workshop!

We are excited to share that we recently hosted another inspiring online workshop as part of the Premieres of Diversity project! Building on the insights from our previous sessions, this workshop brought participants together once again for a dynamic and thought-provoking 90-minute exchange.

During this session, participants had the opportunity to:

– Explore storytelling as a powerful tool for representation, focusing on how diaspora communities can share their own narratives through media, film, and creative expression. The session highlighted how storytelling can challenge dominant perspectives and amplify underrepresented voices.

– Understand the role of media in shaping cultural identity, reflecting on how audiovisual content influences the way diaspora communities are perceived and how cultural memory is constructed.

– Engage with the project’s creative dimension, gaining insights into upcoming activities such as video production, storytelling techniques, and collaborative outputs that will be developed throughout the project.

– Participate in interactive discussions, exchanging ideas and personal experiences related to identity, belonging, and cultural diversity in a safe and inclusive environment.

This workshop marked another important milestone in our journey—empowering participants not only to reflect critically on media and representation, but also to become active creators of their own narratives.

The Premieres of Diversity project continues to grow thanks to the collaboration of Kopin Malta, Associazione ValIda, EKOgreece, Südwind, Ecepaa, and Le LABA.

We look forward to continuing this journey together – stay tuned for more workshops, creative outputs, and inspiring conversations!
