The journey of the EKO Youth Club continued with its fourth workshop, bringing the same vibrant and engaging energy that has defined our sessions so far. This time, participants gathered for a lighter, more playful experience, diving into the richness of Spanish culture with the help of our Spanish colleague, who is currently in Greece through the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme.

Learning Through Fun & Friendly Competition

The session kicked off with an interactive quiz that quickly turned the room into a lively space full of laughter, curiosity, and a bit of friendly competition. Participants tested their knowledge (and guesses!) on a variety of topics, from Spanish traditions and food to music, language, and everyday life. Some answers came easily, others sparked surprise—and a few led to some very creative interpretations before the correct ones were revealed.

Guided by our Spanish guest, each question became an opportunity to go beyond the surface and explore the cultural meaning behind it. From understanding the importance of festivals to discovering fun facts about Spanish habits and expressions, participants were able to connect cultural knowledge with real-life experiences.

Stories, Surprises & Cultural Exchange

Beyond the quiz, the session naturally evolved into an open discussion where participants shared their own experiences with Spanish culture—or reflected on similarities and differences with their own backgrounds. Personal stories, unexpected cultural facts, and plenty of humor created a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere where everyone felt encouraged to participate.

It wasn’t just about getting the right answers—it was about discovering, connecting, and seeing culture through a more human and relatable lens.

Looking Ahead

As the session came to a close, participants left with new knowledge, big smiles, and maybe even a few Spanish words added to their vocabulary. The workshop once again showed how learning can be both meaningful and fun when it’s shared.

The group continues to grow stronger with each session, building connections through curiosity, creativity, and cultural exchange—always ready for the next topic to explore together.
