🌍 EYES Project – July  2026

In July 2026, the EYES Erasmus+ partnership continued its online activities and coordination efforts, chaired by ABARKA, with a strong focus on intercultural dialogue, youth participation, and the preparation of future thematic sessions and project activities. Partners remained actively engaged in strengthening collaboration, ensuring smooth communication, and promoting inclusive participation across all countries involved in the project.

💼 On 10 July 2026, we held our International Online Discussion: The Social & Solidarity Economy for Young People, facilitated within the EYES project framework, facilitated by  WEBDEV FOUNDATION and organised within the framework of the EYES project.

Young people from Spain, Italy, Greece, Türkiye, Ghana, Cameroon, Gabon, and Nigeria explored the landscape of the social and solidarity economy through interactive discussions, shared perspectives and experiences from their own local contexts, learned about the systemic roots and daily realities of cooperative enterprises and community-led initiatives in different countries, and discovered innovative strategies, sustainable business models, and the values of democratic governance, social equity, and cross-border collaboration connected to building a more inclusive and resilient global economy

The session also highlighted systemic challenges in traditional economies, barriers to cooperative development, social entrepreneurship pathways, capacity building for social impact, and solidarity values connected to shared prosperity. Through open dialogue and intercultural exchange, participants strengthened mutual understanding, promoted cultural diversity, and reinforced the sense of connection within the EYES community.
