E+ EYES Monthly Follow-Up Meeting – January Highlights

On 7 January, partners of the E+ EYES project met online for the monthly follow-up meeting to review December activities, assess project impact, and coordinate upcoming actions. Representatives from partner organizations across Europe and Africa shared updates on local activities, participation levels, and engagement challenges. Survey results confirmed a strong organizational impact (average 4.7/5), active involvement of young people mainly aged 25–34, and a growing need for additional resources to support project implementation and communication.

Partners highlighted key achievements across countries, including virtual exchange sessions with students in Cameroon, large-scale digital skills training in Gabon, community-building initiatives in Ghana, municipal dissemination actions in Greece, local events and online course development in Italy, and offline outreach activities in Turkey. Discussions also addressed common challenges such as motivating European youth, meeting reporting requirements, and resolving technical issues related to platform access.

Looking ahead, partners confirmed the continuation of the EYES international dialogue series with the next EYES Online Facilitated Discussion scheduled for 29 January 2026. The upcoming session will focus on Youth Unemployment and Education under the theme “Reality, Roots, and Reform”, offering young people aged 18–30 a safe, interactive space to share experiences, discuss systemic challenges, and explore solutions linking education and employment. The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to strengthened coordination, visibility, and sustained engagement across the E+ EYES network.
