EYES Network – October 2025 Highlights

On October 6, the EYES (Empowering Youth through European Solidarity) Network held its monthly follow-up, gathering partners from Spain, Nigeria, Gabon, Cameroon, Italy, Turkey, Greece, and Ghana to review project progress and strengthen collaboration. The meeting opened with an emotional check-in, where participants reflected on financial pressures and communication challenges but reaffirmed the network’s foundation of trust, friendship, and non-transactional cooperation. Key updates included improvements to the project’s online platform—such as mobile-friendly design, VPN guides, and low-bandwidth accessibility testing—and the launch of a SLIDO feedback survey to guide future development. The group also reviewed the Train-the-Trainer sessions from August and September, addressing earlier technical issues and introducing simplified materials and how-to videos to ensure a more supportive learning environment.

On October 14, the EYES Network, in collaboration with the WebDev Foundation, hosted an Erasmus+ Online Workshop on “Startup Mindset for Rural Transformation.” Led by facilitators Francesco, Clotaire, Marco D’Angelo (Beeco), Lucia, and others, the two-hour Zoom session gathered over 130 participants from at least eight countries, including Ghana, Cameroon, Gabon, Nigeria, Italy, Spain, Turkey, and Greece. The workshop explored how entrepreneurship can drive solutions to rural challenges such as exodus, unemployment, and limited infrastructure. Participants learned practical tools like MVP thinking, lean innovation, and problem framing to help them transform local ideas into actionable projects.

Together, these October activities reflected the EYES Network’s ongoing commitment to solidarity, capacity-building, and real-world impact. From heartfelt dialogue on collaboration and ethics to hands-on entrepreneurship training, the network continues to grow as a family of changemakers—where innovation, empathy, and shared purpose drive every step forward.
