IMMIGRADE

PROJECT SUMMARY:  ImmiGrade is a Youth Exchange that will be focused on migrants integration in widespread reception contexts. With several active experiences, like social theater sessions, participants will share their opinions about good practice of integration and lack of communication between migrants and the local people that often generates prejudice.

PLACE AND DATE: Casalino di Ligonchio, Italy 2-11/4 (10 days)
TRAVEL DATES: 2nd of April (arrival) / 11th of April (departure)
PARTICIPANTS: 24 (6 from each organization)

** The project covers 100% of accommodation, meals, transportation and travel tickets (based on Erasmus+ Distance Calculator: maximum 250 EUROS for a round trip).

COUNTRIES: Greece, Italy, Spain, Portugal
LANGUAGE: The working language will be English

WHAT: This project wants to give space to free youth discussion aimed at raising awareness that prejudice, hatred and discrimination are harmful to communities and how integration can become an important social improvement opportunity for all Europe. And calls for reaching awareness among young people that immigration can be an additional ally to address some of the main national and European emergencies.

OBJECTIVES: ImmiGrade aims to stimulate participants to reflect on the opportunities that the widespread reception models of immigration may be able to generate both, from a social and economic point of view, with particular focus on the problems inherent to the lack of communication which often causes prejudice.
