Publication of the Survey Report
EKO is delighted to announce the release of the Needs Assessment Report, being developed on the basis of both the findings collected during the survey report and the focus group.
The survey sought to evaluate the participants & concrete needs, in terms of infrastructure and training requirements associated with the virtual exchange projects. It supported its necessary adjustments to guarantee an accessible, comprehensive and sustainable project. The focus group offered deeper knowledge of the respondents & background and the project & impact, while engaging the target group in the planning procedure to enhance commitment and accountability. Combined, these activities secured that the project remained inclusive, responsive and participant-centered and participant- driven input.
Both the survey and the focus group insights highlighted the significance of interactive methods for youth’ s commitment. The focus group connected them with involvement; the survey focused on practical training and communication. In both, digital literacy and infrastructure issues were presented, with the focus group adding, also, the necessity for customisable platforms. Additionally, the focus group suggested engaging parents, teachers and youth workers – less indicated in the survey. The survey underlined digital mentoring and inadequate knowledge of Erasmus+ projects, which were not raised by the focus group. In summary, these results highlight the significance of inclusive planning, greater access to technology, involvement of key stakeholders to meet the project & aim of fostering youth empowerment and enhancing active citizenship.
