Quest-On
Training Course 5/07/2024 – 16/07/2024, in Zakrzewo, Poland.
EKO is happy to announce that one more amazing training course has been completed successfully. The project “Quest – On” united 25 young participants from Romania, Italy, Greece, Spain, Ireland, Turkey, Slovakia, Slovenia, Poland, Cyprus. It was organized by the Polish organization KobieTY and took place in Zakrzewo (Poland) from 05 to 16 July 2024.
Aims & Objectives of the project
The project aimed to teach the youngsters specific, tangible, but also diverse coaching/mentoring tools to work on personal and professional development on a deeper level, as well as helping them question their assumptions and beliefs.
More specifically the objectives were:
Equipping youth workers with diverse coaching and mentoring tools which can
support their work with young people on various levels of the Dilts pyramide;
Developing skills of youth workers crucial in leading successful
coaching/mentoring sessions with young people (ex. deep listening, identifying
and adequately reacting to emotions, communication including giving feedback
or mirroring, etc);
Creating opportunities for youth workers to work on themselves, reviewing
their own behaviors, beliefs, values, mission and life purpose.
Workshops & Activities of the project
Through this project, participants had the opportunity to get better in some key competencies such as multilingual competence, personal, social, and learning to learn competence. Τhe participants engaged in activities based on non-formal education methods. One such method was the Dilts approach. They attended many workshops about self improvement and also learned to include art, connection with nature or physical movement in order to achieve their goals. The project was very interesting and everyone returned to their countries with new knowledge and happy memories.
