From March 10 to 21, 2025, EKO took part in the short-term international exchange in Leiden, Netherlands, through its youth worker, as part of the Erasmus+ KA2 ECHOES project. The exchange, hosted by our Dutch partner Stichting yEUth, gave youth workers from both the sending and host organizations the chance to team up, share ideas, and try out new ways of getting young people involved in climate action and community participation.
The purpose of the exchange was to encourage cross-cultural learning and offer youth workers practical tools and methods for engaging young people in climate advocacy. EKO’s participant actively took part in local climate-focused events and had the chance to build connections with local institutions. She also exchanged best practices with peers and explored new approaches for empowering youth in community-driven climate efforts.
She returned to Greece equipped with fresh ideas, practical tools, and a renewed sense of collaboration that will support EKO’s local work. We deeply appreciate our partner Stichting yEUth for hosting such a meaningful experience, and CERA, the coordinating partner, for making this impactful project a reality!
