EKO is happy to announce that one more amazing youth exchange has been completed successfully. The project “V.I.B.E.: Venture, Inspire, Bond, Evolve” united 25 participants from Greece, Bulgária, Spain, and Slovenia. It was organised by the Bulgarian organisation Via Civic and took place in Dobrinishte, Bulgaria, from 03 to  11 November 2025.

Aims & Objectives of the project

This Erasmus+ youth exchange aims to help young people rediscover the value and strength of community by immersing them in the traditions, lifestyle, and wisdom of mountain life in Dobrinishte, Bulgaria. It is designed for participants who are ready to step out of their usual routines, volunteer in unfamiliar tasks, and learn from the simplicity and resilience of local culture. The project encourages openness, teamwork, personal development, and inspiration from nature, aiming to empower young people to build confidence, creativity, and a deeper understanding of what it means to contribute, support one another, and create meaningful connections.

Workshops & Activities of the project

Participants engaged in a wide variety of hands-on workshops and experiential activities. These included hiking and nature-connection practices, challenging work within the local community, and active involvement in daily mountain life as locals prepare for winter. The program also offered survival skills training, opportunities to learn traditional cooking and cultural customs, and moments of joy through dances and shared experiences. Creative activities such as storytelling and developing a collective legend helped participants reflect, express themselves, and strengthen group bonding throughout the exchange.

It is an amazing opportunity and a great experience for EKO’s team.

Stavros, Panagiotis, Georgios, Magdalini and Meropi were the amazing Greek team members whom we want to thank for all his contributions and collaboration throughout the project!

As EKO, we are very grateful for that amazing opportunity given to the Greek team. We thank our Bulgarian partner, Via Civic, and the members of the hosting organisation for all their hard work and for creating such an impactful project!

Thank you – Ευχαριστούμε – Благодаря!
