EKO is happy to announce that one more amazing training course has been completed successfully. The project “Vibrant Paths: Discover your Journey with IKIGAI” united participants from Spain, Greece, North Macedonia, Portugal and Italy. It was organised by the Spanish organisation “Socialty”, and took place in El Escorial, Madrid, Spain, from 27 April to 04 May 2026.
Aims & Objectives of the project
The project aimed to support youth workers and young people in discovering their life purpose and achieving a greater sense of personal and professional fulfilment through the integration of the Ikigai philosophy. By combining international mobility with self-reflection and intercultural learning, the project encouraged participants to explore their passions, skills, values, and aspirations in order to better understand their direction in life and work.
It also focused on strengthening participants’ ability to make informed decisions aligned with what they love, what they are good at, what the world needs, and what they can be rewarded for. Through this process, the project promoted self-awareness, personal growth, and professional development, while empowering participants to create meaningful career paths and contribute positively to their communities in a global context.
Workshops & Activities of the project
The project was implemented through non-formal education methods, combining theoretical sessions with practical and experiential activities. Participants were introduced to the principles of Ikigai through workshops on personal values, self-reflection, visualisation, communication, leadership, and empathy.
Practical activities included mentoring and motivation workshops, creative sessions for designing personal action plans and community projects, as well as outdoor activities such as hiking and team-building exercises. These experiences provided space for reflection, peer learning, and personal exploration, supporting participants in translating their insights into concrete actions for their personal and professional lives.
It is an amazing opportunity and a great experience for EKO’s team.
Thomas, Christos and Olia were the amazing Greek team members whom we want to thank for all their contributions and collaboration throughout the project!
As EKO, we are very grateful for that amazing opportunity given to the Greek team. We thank our Spanish partner, Socialty, and the members of the hosting organisation for all their hard work and for creating such an impactful project!
Thank you – Ευχαριστούμε – Gracias!
