Work Package 3 Coordination Meeting – Key Outcomes
The Work Package 3 coordination meeting, held on 19 December, reviewed progress for the 24-month implementation period (July 2025–June 2027), which aimed to engage 1,080 young people through monthly sessions. Early results were very positive, with more than 500–600 participants already involved across the first four sessions, showing particularly strong engagement from African partners. Differences in participation levels among EU partners were linked to varying organizational capacities and availability.
Partners reaffirmed the project’s youth-centered approach, emphasizing the importance of giving young people space to speak, present, and build confidence. Coordination and technical challenges from the fourth session were also discussed, highlighting the need for improved communication, clearer roles, and stronger mutual support among partners. In parallel, the 4th Online Facilitated Discussion on Migration and Rural Exodus, held on 17 December 2025, focused on the family and psychological consequences of rural exodus, offering young participants a safe and interactive space to share experiences and reflect from an international perspective.
Looking ahead, partners discussed increasing to two sessions per month in Quarter 2, focusing on youth unemployment and education, to maintain motivation and better accommodate different time zones. The leadership structure was confirmed, with EKO Greece leading Work Package 3 and AIESEC Alumni Ghana acting as co-leader, alongside a continued focus on documentation, local piloting activities, and quality implementation.
