Final Conference & Transnational Partners Meeting

On March 19th, 2026, we had the opportunity to participate in the final activities of the YOU-CYCLE project in Brussels, Belgium, marking an important milestone in the completion of this impactful European initiative. The day brought together partners, policymakers, experts, and young changemakers, highlighting the collective efforts made throughout the project to promote a circular local economy.

The day began with the YOU-CYCLE Final Conference at the European Parliament, which brought an additional level of significance to the event. The conference gathered key stakeholders and featured discussions on circular economy, innovation, and the role of youth in shaping sustainable policies. Through expert panels and policy dialogues, participants explored how collaboration and active participation can drive meaningful change towards a greener future. The final event represented not only the conclusion of the YOU-CYCLE project but also a moment of reflection and inspiration, highlighting the importance of continued efforts, collaboration, and youth engagement in building a more sustainable and circular society.

During the Final Transnational Partners Meeting (TPM), all project partners came together to reflect on the YOU-CYCLE journey and consolidate its outcomes. This meeting provided a valuable space to exchange final insights, evaluate the progress achieved, and strengthen the collaboration developed throughout the project. Through this process, we were able to recognize the importance of transnational cooperation in addressing environmental challenges and promoting sustainable practices at the local level.

Over the course of the project, YOU-CYCLE contributed to empowering young people to actively engage in the transition towards a circular economy, equipping them with knowledge, tools, and practical experience. At the same time, it supported the development and implementation of local initiatives, encouraged the sharing of best practices among partners, and raised awareness within communities about sustainability and responsible resource use. The strong partnerships built during this time also created a solid foundation for future collaboration and continued impact.
