We are grateful for the successful completion of the Local Social Impact Hub, in the context of the “YOUng Changemakers for Circular Local Economy” Erasmus+ Program that took place on July 11-12, 2024 in Athens.

During these days, young participants had the opportunity to cultivate and develop their sustainable business idea, at an initial stage, grounded in the principles of social entrepreneurship and the circular economy. Throughout the sessions, participants were guided by experienced representatives of various social green businesses, who provided valuable insights and support. Their involvement not only contributed to the success of the event but also exemplified the spirit of community-driven innovation and sustainable business practices.

On the first day, the young people were introduced to the business profile of each changemaker’s organization and participated in a detailed introduction to the Business Model Canvas, on which they were asked to develop their business ideas. The next day’s agenda included a brainstorming session for the teams and, finally, a presentation of their final output to the rest of the group.
