We are proud for the new developments of EKO’s role in the centre of the civil society work for youth empowerment in Greece. We are honoured to have been selected by the Greek National Agency of Erasmus+ to participate in the TCA Seminar “APPETIZER – An introduction on how to use the ‘Erasmus+ Youth in Action’ Programme for international youth work”, which took place in Athens, Greece, from 14 to 17 October 2019.
Appetizer TCA: Welcoming and Building Capacities in Erasmus+ Newcomers
The event aimed at creating a space, where youth workers/leaders with experience in youth events at local level, members of organizations or informal youth groups new to Erasmus+, and in general people in contact with young people, could explore possibilities of support available for youth activities, at the international level, by the Erasmus+ Program. During the event participants also had the chance to meet representatives of experienced organizations in the field, analyse examples of qualitative Erasmus+ youth projects and develop a first knowledge-base on Youth Mobility project management.
EKO spreads its knowledge and experience on Erasmus+ YE Project Management
On the basis of our extensive experience in Erasmus+ projects design and coordination, our project manager, Eliana Vasileiou, was invited to present an Erasmus+ success story, through which participants could gain precious know-how on best practices for project planning, implementation and reporting in the field of Erasmus+ KA1 Youth Exchanges, as well as on innovative methods of non-formal education.
During the seminar we had the chance to exchange ideas with other interested parties and to contribute to an important and fertile dialogue with respect to the development of international projects for the mobilization of youth, its empowerment and meaningful civic participation.
