As a part of PRO(F)LITERACY 2.0 project, EKO has organized the ninth virtual mobility titled “Creative Savings” on 12/12/2024.

The workshop began with an engaging introduction and icebreaker session, creating a lively and inclusive environment for participants. This was followed by the “Fact & Fiction” activity, where attendees explored common myths and truths about personal finance. The session transitioned into a discussion on the fundamentals of saving, emphasizing the importance of early financial planning and establishing an emergency fund. The segment concluded with a Mentimeter activity asking attendees to share their immediate thoughts on creative savings.

The workshop delved into the concept of creative saving. The facilitator explained its definition, highlighted its importance, and shared actionable examples of creative saving hacks. Practical advice on how to adopt these strategies in daily life was also provided. Attendees then had the opportunity to share their own creative savings tips via Mentimeter, fostering a collaborative exchange of ideas. The session ended with an exciting Kahoot quiz, reinforcing the key takeaways in an engaging and competitive format.

Overall, the workshop successfully combined education and interaction, leaving participants with valuable insights and practical tools to enhance their financial well-being.
