We are thrilled to share the progress of our multimedia educational kit, a transformative project that aims to equip young people with the skills to become exceptional tour guides. This innovative kit emphasises preserving and celebrating cultural and natural heritage. Designed to be engaging and accessible, it incorporates various formats, such as eBooks, videos, podcasts, and interactive tools, creating an enjoyable and comprehensive learning experience.
More than just a training resource, the kit empowers young people with theoretical and practical knowledge to lead meaningful community tours. To showcase their achievements, participants earn open badges and complete assessments. With input from key partners EKO and CBE, the kit features a robust framework to ensure each module is practical, interactive, and hands-on.
Each module, capped at 12 pages, focuses on practical skills and includes engaging elements such as podcasts, testimonial videos, infographics, case studies, and quizzes. We use a standardised infographic template provided by EKO and a 12-question final quiz developed by ESICA to maintain consistency. This combination of features ensures the learning process remains dynamic and visually cohesive.
As we near the completion of this exciting initiative, the collaboration between EKO and CBE has proven invaluable in creating a powerful educational resource. With a clear plan and innovative design, the multimedia educational kit will empower young people to connect with and preserve their heritage. We welcome your feedback and ideas to enhance the kit further and ensure it continues to educate and inspire.
