CROSS INTERACTION EVENT ROME

December 13th marked the Final Cross-Interaction Event of the Erasmus KA3 Project ‘VISYON’, which was held in Rome. The consortium and young participants were hosted by the Italian partner CIAPE – Centro Italiano per l’Apprendimento Permanente – at the creative multimedia space of Europa Experience, where they took part in an engaging and interactive Simulation Game. This activity enabled them to gain a deeper understanding of the dynamics of the European Parliament, stepping into the shoes of European parliamentarians. This was made even more meaningful by the valuable participation of Alberto D’Argenzio, the Press Officer at the EU Parliament, who contributed by sharing his personal experience.

As part of the event, the Cinema Room hosted the screening of all 11 VISYON films, each showcasing the voices, perspectives, and creativity of young participants in addressing key social issues. The screening concluded with a special session led by the film director, providing insights into the filmmaking process and the impact of these stories in promoting the 11 European Youth Goals (EYG).

This stimulating event was part of the VISYON project which involves eight partners from different countries under the Coordination of EKO Greece: Stitching yEUth, CIAPE, monomyths, AELV, FECE, VisMedNet, Youthfully Yours.

VISYON Project aims to equip young Europeans with the tools and platforms they need to express their needs, share their challenges, and tell their stories. By fostering open discussions, the project encourages critical reflection on the effectiveness of current European policies in addressing youth needs and explores ways to improve them.

As the VISYON project officially comes to an end, we at EKO are incredibly proud of the journey we have shared with our partners and all the young people who contributed their voices, ideas, and creativity. Over the past two years, VISYON has created meaningful spaces for dialogue, empowered youth to participate in shaping the future of Europe, and highlighted the importance of the 11 European Youth Goals. While the project concludes, its impact will continue through the knowledge, connections, and inspiration it leaves behind. We thank everyone who made VISYON possible and look forward to building on this legacy in future initiatives for youth empowerment and active participation.
