Celebrating #ErasmusDays: Time Travel to the essence of Erasmus+ Programme!

EKO Greece was very happy for the celebration of the #ErasmusDays of 2020 and we decided to pay a tribute to the Erasmus+ Programme! 

During this year’s celebration, on October 16th  2021, we organized an online meeting among former participants in EKO’s past projects, as well as other youngsters from all over Europe. During the meeting we made a flashback on all our implemented Erasmus+ Projects, reviewed  highlights and best results from these projects and let our participants share how they were impacted by their Erasmus+ experience! 

The event also included an online exhibition with testimonies from young people across Europe, who shared with us their experiences and emotions, as well as their favourite pictures from their participation in Erasmus+ Projects! 

During a special part of the event,  we spoke about our expectations and desired results from our ongoing KA3 Erasmus+ Project “Youth Voices Matter – Y-MOVE” that will be implemented in Autumn of 2021, when the situation with the pandemic allows it. Both our partners from Italy (Italian Institute for the Future) and Spain (Las Niñas del Tul) gave us their input of how they believe this project will impact their organizations, the participants and the local community. In addition, 3 potential young participants from each country (Greece, Italy & Spain) spoke to us through videos about their thoughts and expectations regarding the project and shared their feelings and experiences they had till now through Erasmus+.

More than 35 youngsters took part in this event, spoke about their feelings now that the mobilities have stopped due to COVID-19, and in the end we altogether said “Cheers to Erasmus+ Programme”!
