“InterAct” Kick-Off meeting successfully Completed
Great news for you, EKO, and any youth mobility of the future!
We are glad to announce that InterAct’s “First Kick-Off” meeting took place last week, and that we officially got started!
InterAct is our journey towards helping youth across Europe to have a deeper understanding of the value of intercultural communication, and to make the most out of it. It is a truly aspiring project, coordinated by our German partner KulturLife, aiming to enhance the benefits of any youth mobility by making intercultural learning explicit and embedded into a comprehensive learning process. During the project, the consortium will develop a comprehensive toolkit, embedded into a web-based app, which will both teach and validate learning of Intercultural Action Competencies (IAC).
We are thankful to be part of the international consortium involved, that consists of experienced NGOs, youth organizations, Institutes, and Universities; whereas, it has already started putting its efforts forward to combine the particular strength of non-formal learning (intercultural communication) with measurable learning outcomes.
These are KulturLife from Germany, EKO from Greece, yEUth from the Netherlands, Mobilizing Expertise AB from Sweden, Education In An Interdependent World from Belgium, Dun Laoghaire Institute from Ireland, and the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen from the Netherlands.
We are looking forward to our partnership’s next steps and the delivery of such a useful toolkit for youth mobilities!
