Successful Implementation of the Second TPM of STELLA project!
On December 17th and 18th, EKO hosted the STELLA project’s Transnational Project Meeting (TPM) in Athens, uniting all partner organizations to address key aspects of the project. The meeting centered on preparations for the upcoming training course in Malta, set for March 2024, and plans for the next TPM, which will be hosted by Active Zone Outdoor (AZO) in Cyprus.
Participants exchanged valuable insights, offering suggestions and strategies to enhance the project’s overall impact and effectiveness, fostering an atmosphere of productive collaboration. The discussions also emphasized the guidelines and deadlines for the project’s key deliverables, which include:
– A Collection of 75 Best Practices demonstrating how sports can effectively raise environmental awareness.
– Interviews with Stakeholders and Experts specializing in sports and sustainability education.
– A Toolkit featuring practical resources and tools to support youth workers in using sports as a means to promote environmental education.
The STELLA project, a KA2 initiative funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, represents a collaborative effort involving five organizations from five European countries. Spanning 24 months from March 1, 2024, to February 28, 2026, the project aims to promote environmental sustainability through sports by fostering international cooperation and innovative educational approaches.
The consortium is led by TDM 2000 ODV (Italy) and includes TDM 2000 (Malta), Active Zone Outdoor (Cyprus), SYAJ—Associacao Juvenil Synergia (Portugal), and EKO (Greece). Together, these partners are dedicated to developing impactful resources and tools to integrate environmental awareness into sports education effectively.
