Youth Exchange 01/11/2023 – 09/11/2023 in Mersin, Turkiye
EKO is happy to announce that one more amazing youth exchange has been successfully completed. The project “Unemployment-19” united 36 young participants from Türkiye, CzechRepublic, Lithuania, Poland,Greece and Spain. It was organized by the Turkish organization European Integration Group, and took place in Mersin (Turkiye) from 01 to 09 of November 2023.
Aims & Objectives of the project
The project aimed to dispel the common misconception that Covid-19 only affects adults and the elderly and to meet the needs of young people suffering from the social and economic impacts of the virus by developing youth skills that will be in high demand in the post-2019 period.
More specifically the objectives were:
Workshops & Activities of the project
Through this project, participants had the opportunity to get better in some key competencies such as multilingual competence, personal, social, and learning to learn competence. During the week, they worked with a non-formal methodology, with dynamics, they worked in small groups, and had creative workshops and presentations. In summary, all team members developed different skills and competencies while acquiring new knowledge. They were able to develop skills such as a sense of initiative, creativity, teamwork, the ability to energize, practice languages, reflection, and critical thinking… and definitely lots of certain skills.

Apostolos, Konstantinos, Lampros, and Isidora were the members of this amazing Greek team whom we really wanna thank for all their contribution and collaboration throughout the project!
