Erasmus + KA210 - “Youth SDG Work”

1st February 2022 – 1st February 2023

“Leave no young person behind”

Youth SDG (Sustainable Development Goals) Work is an Erasmus + KA210-YOU – Small-scale partnerships in youth project whose aim is to provide climate education workshops and conferences for migrants and socially disadvantaged young people with the overall aim of making an important step and an immediate contribution in order to achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals by 2030.

Context

Climate Change is one of the biggest global challenges of the 21st century. The negative consequences of the climate crisis affected various areas of the Earth. The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development has set 17 Sustainable Development Goals with 169 targets, to be achieved by the year 2030. Since the Goals affect all seven billion people on Earth, action is needed from everyone. In particular, today there are 1.2 billion young people aged between 15 and 24 and they play a critical role in the implementation of the sustainable development goals.

Objectives

In this context, the project has three main aims:

  1. Strengthen youth participation, involvement and engagement in policy-making;
  2. Improve access to inclusive and equitable quality education for everyone;
  3. Make a crucial contribution in the fight against the climate crisis.
